Privacy and local processing

Selected files

Image Prep, Image QA and the format-comparison tool process selected files in your browser. They do not upload them to Seller Operations Lab or store them in a server-side image library. There is no account or cloud synchronization.

Saved settings

Saving is optional. Image settings and filename preferences may be stored in this browser's local storage. Photos and source image bytes are not stored there. Use “Forget saved settings” to remove the saved recipe.

Ordinary website requests

Loading the site involves network requests. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may process connection and security information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and request times. Local image processing does not mean every website visit is anonymous. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Hosting performance measurement

The deployed site loads a Cloudflare Web Analytics performance beacon, which Cloudflare can inject at the hosting layer even though it is not in this repository's page scripts. It reports page-view and loading-performance information to Cloudflare. This is separate from processing your selected image files; the image tools do not send those files to the analytics service.

Cloudflare documents the beacon's collection and reporting behavior in its Web Analytics data collection documentation. Ordinary hosting and security requests are described above; do not interpret local image processing as a claim that the site makes no external requests.

Advertising

This release does not run advertising scripts. If advertising or additional analytics is enabled later, this policy and any applicable consent controls must be reviewed and updated before those scripts run.
