The image changes the answer
In our reference exports, WebP is smaller for the cup photograph. PNG is much smaller for the repeated pattern. The detailed coffee photograph also needs more bytes than the cup. Compare your own content before choosing a format.
Each row starts with the same 1200 × 900 pixels. JPG and WebP use quality 85; equal parameters do not mean equal visual quality.
